Espn Article on SEC teams that can unseat BAma
Uf isn't even mentioned:
http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/i...es-this-spring
This is one positive from the loss to Louisville. Once again, No one is talking about us this off-season. If we would have won that game, the press would be all over us even with the personnel losses to the draft.

LouisVille game was an Anomaly, but the Media can't or won't get over it , I think it's a good thing keeps us hungry with a chip on our shoulder

They are treating our 11-2 season like an anomaly.

People point out that it was Manziel's first start, which is fair most teams get better on both sides of the ball over the course of the season, they clearly were a different team at the end of the year- we were better on one side of the ball at the end of the year.

Its an interesting question- we won 11 games but a lot of them were very close and we got so much turnover luck that it could be hard to repeat. Its also a byproduct of media hype- people hype up high-scoring offenses, or teams with good offenses and dominant defenses, no ones ever been as good as we were last year with an offense as bad as ours was, no ones even been close- defense might win championships but offense helps-- we need to improve to at least the level LSU was at in 2011 to contend and that's if our defense is as good as it was last year.

I think the consensus in the media is that we won't be as good next season.

On defense it was an anomaly. Offense? Same old offense.

Yeah but we had no tape on aTm and did not know what to expect. After we figured them out they didn't score again.

Ole Miss gets mentioned as a team that can unseat Bama. Not Florida. Tells you the quality of Lowe's writing.

the bottom line: ya ain't getting no durn respect till ya beat the big boys...premier programs don't get blind-sided by the likes of Louisville. Although, getting beat by Ta&m is okay if you then rally and win the national championship. We always get praise when we deserve it. Sportscasters hate being made wrong. They say we're gonna beat Louisville and we then lose-makes em look bad. We have some work to do. Gotta win the East (beat the dawgs) then go on and play the big one. Pray for Driskel's development. (dear Lord God, please let Driskel see there are three receivers, not one-and may he hit at least one of them.)

Our Offense lacked Play makers at WR, so we relyed on the TE and Gilly all year for what little offense we had . We won games by griding it out, getting turn overs and playing great defense . For some reason we got away from that in the sugar bowl. Although our Offense was boring and bland we found ways to win 11 games I just think it's more likely we had a one game Anomaly than we had an 11 game Anomaly

Listen, I'm sure you are a great poster and a great Gator but it really bothers me when the "we won 11 games" card is thrown out every time someone makes an observation.
The offense stunk for most of the year. Triple digit offense at a major conference school is unacceptable regardless of how many wins we gained.

They'd have no trouble getting over it if it had been reF$U instead of us. The bias never goes away, regardless who's coaching the two teams.

+1 Yep one top 5 recruiting class in the last what 60 years? and now they are going to challenge Bama
We stand much better chance to knock off Bama next year than Ole Miss does

Bottom line, we aren't winning anything until JD shows up. No one is going to jump on the Gator bandwagon until then.
