That & the fact that Bama was playing the Gators hard & physical. Other teams have been playing that way against UF without as many fouls called against them as you might think. This aggressive style has worked, but yesterday the refs called Bama on them. When you factor in the crowd & "home cooking" these factors create a discrepancy.
Because we've complained about foul calls this year, a lot of people will probably jump on Gator fans who are okay with yesterday's refs. I think the refs are allowing a lot more contact this year & the Gators, with primarily a guard-based outside game, just aren't in position to tale advantage of this. Additionally, because the Gators don't bang as much as other teams, when we do it really stands out to the refs & they tend to notice it.
