Officials leaving no doubt as to who they wanted to win this one...yeesh.

Well, have to give credit to Bonds and Moss for at least showing some fight in this one. Calling the rest of the team's second half performance lackadaisical would probably be an understatement. Of course giving up 67 points to one of the worst offensive teams in the country pretty much says it all.

It probably will remain that way until UT, UGA and UK begin to slide, if that happens.....

There's no young Pat Summitt or Geno Auriemma coming here to give us what Billy Donovan gave our men's program. It just isn't going to happen.

Foley probably could have gotten Kim Mulkey in '07 for the right price... but of course it's hard to give out big coaching contracts to a non-revenue sport.

It's not going to happen. Foley learned his lesson with Peck. High profile, championship winning, fairly decent salaried coach and the program took a huge dive.

He'll stay the course for now and see how the next group of recruits do. There is absolutely no reason to start over now. We're not talking about 5-26 here. We're talking about a team with one senior that will finish with a winning record and a post season berth.

You can't use Peck as a built-in excuse to not hire a high-profile coach. Peck only coached for like 1 season at Purdue, won the national title,and bolted for the WNBA. So she wasn't really familiar with how to build a program.

WNIT is no accomplishment, and why do we only have 1 senior for a coach that has been here 6 years?

i'm looking forward to next season. i think there's a growing interest in the program - even if some of it is negative/wanting to run off the coach. so it will be under the microscope next year. that can be good: perform well - exceed expectations and might really take off. that's what i'm hoping. we, as fans, need to get more committed to the program. attend games; make the investment. then good things will happen. recruits will want to come, if they are winning and we're filling the stands (more).
