There are less than 5 big men in the NBA who can make that play.

and for all of his supposed "awkwardness" I will again point out that not only are there perfect fundamentals within within certain aspects of his skill set. There are also fundamental necessities found within the awkard parts of his game which allow him to succeed.

For example. Noah is shooting basically 75% from the free throw line for the season and is at 73% for his career. Now considering how "bad" his fundamentals are....how the heck is he hitting at over a 50% clip of so many other big men?

heck, Noah is shooting FTs at a better clip than most forwards...including small forwards. Parsons is only shooting at 71% for the season.

Why?

certain basics are in place....even on the awkward stuff

Dude, relax. Are you his brother or something. His shot is ugly as hell, and so are his free throws. Does it matter? Absolutely not. He gets the job done and then some. That's all that matters. Like I said, he's turning into a monster. Why are we arguing? Noah is one of my favorite gators to watch. I just think he still has a little of the awkwardness still in him. I get what you're saying though.

Your contention kind of reminds me of Reggie miller and his shot. When I played, I patterned my game after him. (Not the flops) His release was different than most, but it worked. To this day, I still shoot like Reggie. (True story)

Noah has always had the most awkward looking shooting motion when making free throws, but as long as they go in, who cares?

Jo is the biggest sports celebrity in town right now. With his tenacity and enthusiasm, it won't change much when Rose comes back. This town just loves odd balls. If he stays with the Bulls for his entire career, he will become one of Chicago's immortals.
