Analysis and conclusions of JD in comparison to all the others - anyone?

-First things first: Who's throwing what kind of passes?
-So this tells us a little bit about the personality of different teams' passing games.
-Zach Mettenberger didn't get an excessive amount of help from his receiving corps in 2012, but ... this data reaffirms that his performance against Alabama was most certainly not the norm.
-My goodness, look at A.J. McCarron's performance on passes of 20+ yards.
-Johnny Manziel's percentages are interesting. He was as good as anybody on the super-short passes (<5 yards), decent from 5-14 yards, great from 15-19 yards and pretty spotty on anything deeper.
-E.J. Manuel was almost never asked to throw too far downfield (which is kind of baffling when you consider how many good, fast receivers Florida State had last year).
-That Teddy Bridgewater is awesome and Andrew Maxwell very much is not ... this is not a surprise.

JD has very respectable numbers. I hope this doesn't bother the JD haters out there.

We should see an improvement this year and I believe we will make big strides throughout the year because we have some great freshmen talent at wr that will get better as the year goes on.

According to the link they give in the intro the numbers for Driskel are compiled from 7 different games. And in those 7 games, he attempted no passes beyond 24 yards, what I assume is 7 passes between 20-24 yards (3 of which were completed), and no passes between 15-19 yards. I think that really emphasizes how limited our passing game was. Basically in 7 games all teams had to worry about defending was 15 yards from the LOS.
