While I love HIMYM, it's due to come to an end....they have dragged it out almost as long as they can....it shouldn't take 9 years to tell a story hahaha...but still a great show....
It just annoys me that less quality shows get longer seasons whereas a great show IMO like LOST only gets 6 seasons when I feel it could gone for at least 7...

I know Smallville got 10 seasons and it took him to the end to Fly, but I wanted a spin-off.

Parenthood is pretty good stuff. Enough drama for 10 families and syrupy sweet sometimes, but some of the story lines hit pretty hard. An iTunes show too--you go look up the music after the show, especially the last scene. They did a scene to James Blake's remake of A Case of You (Joni Mitchell)--wonderful.

the only two of those I've ever seen are community and the mindy project. I like them but it wouldn't break my heart if they went off the air

I haven't watched any of these shows, and the only show I watch a lot is Suits.

LOST's creators decided when it would end. ABC left it entirely to them. And they didn't answer anywhere near what they promised. That show was a profound disappointment.

Well, more accurately, team Bad Robot and ABC came to an agreement about a planned ending because there was some writing on the wall that "Lost" wasn't the hit it had been and nobody wanted its possible cancellation to be a debacle without knowing what happened. That is why its seasons were shortened at the same time.
I love "Suits", too. That, Walking Dead, and Vampire Diaries are my only appointment TV right now, although I also like Grimm a lot.

Suits is fantastic and The Good Wife is pretty darn good, too.

I also like the CIA show on USA network, can't recall the name right now. Having serious problems with the memory.

Be disappointed to lose Good Wife and Vegas. GW especially. Vegas took a while to grow on me but it's not bad.

Big Bang Theory is the funniest show on TV.
I too love Justified.

I haven't started watching Walking Dead yet so I can't offer any insight there...and while I am a big fan of Justified I have to say the best show on cable TV right now is a toss up between Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy....
