Frustrated
Not going to add much more than that because posting after a loss is never a that constructive. I just need to get off my chest the frustration. Frustrated with the players, frustrated with the lack of fundamentals, frustrated with a ridiculous number of bad calls when we play away games.

That charge call was terrible. Still, nothing from Boynton, some horrible missed bunnies from Scottie and nothing on the boards will get you beat by even mediocre teams like UT.

Horseshit! That was frustrating to watch. Clearly needed some leadership out there.

Thread for Frustration
This one was in the works. No depth due to injuries. On the road against a team that has had our number, even at our best.
Biggest disappointment was the performance of our seniors. Scotty tried hard, but could not shut down Mr. 6'5". Prather played a decent game, but still looks lost in certain situations. Rosario was nothing but inconsistent. Oh well. Can't wait for the heart of this team to get back. We NEED Willy Yegs and Frazier.

I was frustrated with the lack of effort in this game. It's not like UT was playing perfect basketball or anything. We could have won this game.
They went in tonight expecting to lose with a built-in excuse of "fatigue".

Have we won a close game? Our guys definitely don't handle adversity very well.

I'm concerned about why Wilbekin has suddenly become so tentative on the offensive end. There were several opportunities where he appeared to shy away from an open lane and when he did take it he appeared to lack confidence. We really need him back to the way he was playing midseason for us...

Murphy is on the road. Other than that I didn't really see soft.
That was a pretty decent effort for a team with six players. Technically Walker and Ogbueze saw the floor, but it was pretty much just the starters and Prather for the whole game.

The "silver lining" is that rebounding has been an achilles heel over the past few games, and you have to think the return of Yeguete will greatly help.
This was a frustrating loss, but in some ways. . . understandable.

There you go. Somebody's got to step up. It's like everybody's looking to the next guy to do it and the ball ends up in Boyton's hands and he launches up a three.

The is probably the last way I would put it.
It is a depleted team. It is a flawed team. It is not a soft team.

I don't think over the course of the season the team has been "soft" but they definitely were tonight.

It's simple. Every time this team has faced anything resembling adversity that have failed to overcome it. Just look at the combined stats for Murphy and Boynton tonight. And while Rosario's stats look OK he played badly tonight, he got abused on defense and took a whole host of bad shots. Our three seniors played worse than Prather, Young, Wilbekin. Unless something changes drastically we are in real danger of an early exit.
And what's worse, we are only a game ahead of Kentucky now, they will in all likelihood have a shot for a piece of the title in Lexington, with the worst team they will have under Calipari.

Wilbekin was trying to help out at the end of the game and was being more aggressive. At least he was driving to the basket and not just yo-yo'ing it around the perimeter.
