Has Woodward produced the complete email exchange? Can someone post it?
Woodward obviously has a hard on for Obama (unfavorably comparing his manhood to Bush's willingness to invade Iraq no matter what - say what?).
Maybe he wouldn't give him access for one of his "inside story" books, otherwise known as "this is Powerful Joe Blows version of what happened. That'll be $29.95".

Germany in the 1930's? Hell no, much worse. This is Warsaw in 1941. Nanking in 1933.
The horror! The horror!

Here is the e-mail:

I apologize for raising my voice in our conversation today. My bad. I do understand your problems with a couple of our statements in the fall — but feel on the other hand that you focus on a few specific trees that gives a very wrong perception of the forest. But perhaps we will just not see eye to eye here.
But I do truly believe you should rethink your comment about saying saying that Potus asking for revenues is moving the goal post. I know you may not believe this, but as a friend, I think you will regret staking out that claim. The idea that the sequester was to force both sides to go back to try at a big or grand barain with a mix of entitlements and revenues (even if there were serious disagreements on composition) was part of the DNA of the thing from the start. It was an accepted part of the understanding — from the start. Really. It was assumed by the Rs on the Supercommittee that came right after: it was assumed in the November-December 2012 negotiations. There may have been big disagreements over rates and ratios — but that it was supposed to be replaced by entitlements and revenues of some form is not controversial. (Indeed, the discretionary savings amount from the Boehner-Obama negotiations were locked in in BCA: the sequester was just designed to force all back to table on entitlements and revenues.)

Oh and Andrea Michell just talked on Morning Joe about getting screamed at by Donald Regan for reporting a story so yes it does happen on both sides.

Thank you for answering Flying's question for me jmoliver...
Now, I'm running with talking points and your providing the same answers?
This is nothing unusual ....it happens in EVERY administration...
(contrary to Flying's beliefs)
The ONLY reason why this "story" has any legs is that it plays right into the conservative gripe that the media is awe-struck with Obama and that its taking a Bob Woodward to crticize him.

I don't think Woodward is being criticized for lying or telling the truth...
He's being criticized for being an "victim" opportunist...

I would spin it a little bit differently. I would categorize the email as "Listen Bob, you are in our fraternity and you are putting yourself ahead of the House. You are free to pursue your ambitions but I should warn you that we are really smart over here and we have masterfully covered up all of the evidence that implicates the WH in anything impeachable. Do you want to continue with your dialog and be a man on an island or do you want to come back into the fold and be a nice relic of past glory? Your choice."

I think conservative media running with "you will regret" is the "edited" version. What I posted was the actual e-mail. Get real.

Are you serious?
Colin Powell, Chris Christie, Karl Rove, Lindsay Graham, Orrin Hatch, Charlie Christ, Jon Hunstman, Olympia Snowe...
Pubs have made "hang the messenger" such regular operation that "Rhino" has become a common term...

Another poster relating a very liberal reporter's tale of screaming 30 years after the fact doesn't count. Besides, it's not being yelled at that is the issue here, it's the threats. I ask you again, post a reputable account of any administration ever threatening a reporter for telling the truth. I'll wait. BTW, you are the one spouting beliefs here, not me. I am asking you to back them up with facts, which is something liberals never seem to care about..

Now Lanny Davis, one of Hillary's best buds, is accusing them of doing it to him.

I'm old enough to remember when the leftist media turned on LBJ despite his extreme liberalism.
It was not pretty,
