Default Geek-O-Rama. Take 89 bracket projection, average them out...

...and what do you come up with?

Quote:

So according to most prognostications, which SEC teams land bids and what seeds do they receive?

If the experts are correct, Florida would earn a #1 seed if selections were made today.

Missouri would be a #9 seed. That low seed for the league’s second-best team shows just how poorly SEC hoops is thought of this season.

Kentucky would get in as a #11 seed at the moment. Ditto Ole Miss.

Alabama would be the 10th team out. Arkansas would be the 12th team out. And Tennessee would be the 14th team out.

Guys with websites more than experts, but the average of the public's opinion is a pretty good prognosticator of what should be. Now who knows with a committee made up of a few people each with their own biases.

Agreed. Plus we have to watch the rest of the season play out. If Florida loses @ UT, @ UK and bows out early at the SEC-T, they will not be a #1 seed.

Ding!

The committee is FAR from a collection of experts. It is more like a collection of administrators trying to do a good job.
