A live web cam of the iconic Abbey Road crossing in London. It carries heavy traffic and works like a crosswalk on campus, if anyone is in the crosswalk traffic must stop in both directions. It looks dangerous enough on its own, but then throw in all the tourists who want to have their pictures taken in groups of four usually marching like the Beatles swinging their arms.

The locals must get really tired of this.

I believe they mean, do not pass or stop here. Kinda of like the solid lines we have near intersections and the double lines for no passing zones.

It's England. All roads reversed. The old joke is that the English did it this way to confuse the French should they ever try driving in London.
