Frazier's Status
Heard Michael's got a concussion. I hope he recovers fast. Anyone have an idea on a time frame for a concussion or is on a severity scale?

Hopefully it's only a grade 1, they should know which it is by now.
Concussion Recovery Time
Grade 1 severity
Grade 1 concussion is the mildest of all. Its symptoms may include:
Confusion
Brief memory loss
No unconsciousness
Dizziness that may last for 15 to 30 minutes
Recovery time:
15-20 minutes
Grade 2 severity
This is a stronger version of grade 1. Symptoms are the same as grade 1, but may last for anywhere between 30 minutes and 24 hours, depending on factors such as age and previous head injuries.
Recovery time:
1-2 weeks

He's probably out for the UT and Bama games at least. I hope Billy D gives Walker and Braxton some minutes.

I'm not a doctor, so take this for what you will, but it didn't appear to me that Mike lost consciousness. So there's a good chance that this might only be a Grade I concussion. Tebow, I believe, had a Grade III.

Ain't gonna happen.
This is Billy D we are talking about here. If he has 5 players he trusts, he will play those 5 for 40 minutes in an important game.

UF is good, but won't win many games only playing 6 guys. In fact, if WY doesn't get back, UF isn't going far in the tourney only playing 7 guys.

I just posted a column on this . . .per Billy's comments, he is out for at least the UT game. Remember, there are a lot of protocols that go along with this type of injury.
I would be shocked if he played versus UT, and as of now... Billy is saying he is not.

When I was in school the coach would hold up two fingers and ask how many you saw. If you answered 3 he would say, close enough get back in there.

@onlygators: MT @JQuittner: Donovan says with Frazier out [for Tennessee], they still have to go with an 8-man rotation, whether it's Braxton or Walker..
I vote Braxton, I think he just needs minutes
