ESPN's Top 75 March Madness moments...
http://espn.go.com/ncb/feature/video...ege-basketball
Mike Miller at #66
very surprised to not see the '04's in there with back to back titles
also, we are mentioned a few times for losing (Gonzaga, Butler)

They tried too hard to make older events more significant, also a basketball school winning back to back is pretty significant, especially since we weren't even close to top 25 preseason for the first one.

I am not even going to look, but here are mine three top ones:
NC State over Houston finish.
Webber calls a TO with none available.
Duke over UK in the Elite 8 with the GH to CL pass and shot.

My top would be Walton going 21 of 22 from the field.
Partisan pick would be Pembrooke Burroughs putting back a shot at the buzzer for JU to beat Iowa in the 69 tourney

Same reason as the 04's. Those aren't really moments.

They have teams and special runs on there. Zona being left off is crazy to me also. I put that ahead of what the Gators accomplished because its the only time its ever been done in history. Part of that is just luck, but its a ridiculously tough thing to do.

I don't even have to look at the list to guess Laettner is number 1.

I ran into Laettner at the movie theater about 6 months ago. We were both standing in line at the snack bar.
I said, "great shot man".
I thought he'd just nod and move on. He said, " do you remember where you were?"
I said, "I was in high school, and it was late...so I was in my bedroom".
Then I said, "I went berserk though!!!! I didn't like either team, but I was so loud, my mom woke up to see what was happening".
He said, "then we have something in common about that moment. I went berserk too".
I shit you not. True story.

Pembrooke Burroughs... Now that's a blast from the past.
That team with Gilmore and Burroughs was amazing.

Nothing memorable about pillaging through the field two straight years

I've actually become a fan of his since the shot, granted, I wasn't a Kentucky fan at that time. He's been a great sport about it and made several appearances for charity in Lexington over the last couple years. His interviews on lexington radio shows have been great. Seems to be a good guy.

I mean it was awesome but you can't really pick out the buzzer beater when you beat everyone by double digits.

Brewer's basket against Georgetown in 2006 is one of my all time favorites, but I'm not surprised it didn't make the list. Huge shot, however.

The closest game in our 06-07 ncaa tourney run imo. I still remember gasping when we were up by 2 with like 10 seconds left and Brewer fell down on defense, which give Gtown a wide open three. Thankfully the shot missed, and the rest is history!!
