If God's will was for Tim to go to this church and Tim decided to follow his own plan then he messed up. We all mess up, we are all human. Not many people who are 25 year old Christians and faced this sort of pressure could hold up and Tim has done well.

Don't get me wrong I probably would have done the same thing as Tim did but it was the easy road here.

I agree it was the easy road for him. But it might not have been God's plan yet or Tim could have been following his own will.

Honestly I am surprised the pressure hasn't made him collapse. Im sure he knows if he slips up once(sex, alcohol, lies) and is caught he will be hammered repeatedly by the media and all those who are intolerant of Christianity.

Jesus spoke to crowds during the Sermon on the Mount
