Actually, you really can't make fair RPI comparisons in baseball because of the pitching matchups. UF saw a guy who is probably going to be the best starter in state this year. Now if FGCU wins the series then you have an argument....but getting shut down by this guy isn't a huge upset

It's all in fun. That guy was frustrated, so he took a shot. Your baseball loss will be as meaningless in May as our basketball loss is right now.

The hope is that this a young team that finds their groove late in the year as everybody gains experience, much like Vanderbilt did last year. Right now it's simply just an average baseball team, and the schedule does no favors.
