Same could be said about your "observation" of gays, and their want to change Marriage from a man and a woman to same sex. We all have the right to chose sides and what we think is good for our society.
But the Church does far more good for people and society in general than bad - that is an unbiased observation most honest people would agree with.

The Roman Catholic Faithful Prescribe Traits Needed Of The Next Pope
>> With the historic resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, many of the Roman Catholic faithful are using this lame-duck period to talk about their church's pressing needs and the type of man who could best address them. <<

Some of the changes many would like to see:
Restore Vatican II principles.
Social-media savvy.
Reduce bureauccy.
Married Priests.
Anyone but a European.
Interfaith dialogue.
Cleanup the Curia.
Women clergy.
Good communicator and listener.
Speak multiple languages.
Deal openly with sex-abuse scandal.
Diplomatic.
The above items many Roman Catholics thought were needed in their Church were posted in the Tampa Tribune article that I have. But I did not see them in the link.

Also, should mention that no selection was made on the first day, Tuesday, of the Conclave.

FOX News at the moment showing live coverage of the White smoke exiting the chimney of the Sistine Chapel. An excited crowd outside the Vatican.
12:05 A.M. Thursday local Roman time.

My error on the time. Should be 7:10 P.M. Wednesday, local Roman time.
Reported selection was on the 5th ballot.

Present outside temperature at the Vatican is 46•F. And it's windy and rainy. Yet FNC is showing a very enthusiastic crowd.

Be sweet if he takes the name Patrick in honor of the coming Sunday. It can be the name of any saint, right?

Sorry guys, I won't be posting for awhile. I got the call. I'm the new Pope. Gotta get fitted for some new robes. I'm thinking of either Pope Tebow I or Pope Urban XVII as my name.
