Did Scottie make a shot in the first half? Did B

oynton, Rosario even hit 1 out of four shots? Do we have an inside game? Patrick will he ever hit a FT? When our guards go to the line, we might get one. No Tauren Green, no Kasey Hill, no real offensive threat when they push us out. Since we don't have a real center, that is someone who at least scores once in a while, they push us out when we are on the road and mug us underneath, with the benefit of the home team officiating, then we can't seem to find the net. Final Four is a dream. I had spoken of us being soft on the road, Billy won't lose the tie and the game dwindles down to the end with the home team momentum, we lose on the road. It should never get to that, but when clang clang every time we go to the line, well, it is the recipe for a loss. The last two years in the tournament, this was the same result from following the same formula. We need a consistent guard who is an offensive threat, we don't have it now. FT shooting tonight was terrible. It didn't matter if you fouled a guard or one of our bigs, nobody was consistent. Short bench means tired players missing shots.
On the road on a tuesday night at 9pm a long way from home, a decent team and we come up short. Everything was against us, great teams overcome it sometimes, we don't seem to have it ever on the road when a team has a pulse. When we head to Tennessee I am guessing with the guards they have that can make baskets and FT's, we probably should concede this game now and not get anybody hurt. Forget the number 1 seed, I am guessing by the time we get to the end of the SEC tournament, we will be a 3 or 4 seed.
The final result will be not getting past the second round of the NCAA tournament due to
streaky shooters and little or no inside game.
