I'm sure Billy has reminded them of teh somewhat lackadaisical job they did on defense in the Arkansas game. While Arkie was hot it didn't help that we just more or less stood back and let them shoot the first few shots from the perimeter which got them out to an early lead. We can't have a repeat of that tonight and they have got to play the kind of defense which has got them to the record they now have.

Missouri is the best rebounding team in the conference. . . +10 per game.
In our first game with them, we flipped that number and had them minus 10. That will not happen this time with WY out and Bowers back, but we have to keep the board battle close.

Young needs to have a monster game inside and we need to hit our 3's. Get on them early and take the crowd out of the game

This is either going to cement my belief that we can win a national title or make me question again exactly how far we can go because we just aren't used to winning close games.
I really want to see us pull out a hard fought, close game where we don't have our fans pulling us to the finish (not that any home games have really been close).

I'd prefer a game like the Auburn game. or any of our wins

Having been to this school a number of times, they love their hoop and have a respectable history in it.
However, Gators are a better team, strong crowd or not. I see the Gators by 12.

83-52 seems to be a popular MOV for this team. Why all the angst?

Missouri fan here.
Expecting a decent game tonight, but wouldn't be overly surprised with any outcome.
Will come down to how well Phil (Preseason SEC POY) Pressey handles the Florida pressure. Phil is one of the most talented, enigmatic and frustrating players in the conference and almost single handedly lost the UCLA, LSU and A&M games for us in the final minute of each game. The rest of the team is starting to play very well around him, and when he plays well we are an elite level team that can truly play with anyone on any court. When he plays well, it will take your breath away (see the first 35 minutes of the UCLA game when he had 18 points, 18 assists and 0 turnovers).
When he implodes (like he did against Florida and Louisville) then we are very mediocre.
Florida is one of the 3 best teams in college basketball from what I have seen. Absolutely love the way you play and your collection of players.
Our crowd is very legitimate and it could consume both teams for the first few minutes of the game tonight. Many Mizzou fans are used to having a game against kU this time of year so I would expect Florida to take the brunt of a lot of the pent up frustrations which are a product of no longer having that game on the schedule. With that in mind, there may be a ton of loud booing directed at Florida. It's also possible that this may impact how we treat your team.
With all of that being said, Florida is a very veteran team and I do not expect them to be rattled by the crowd. I am more concerned about the Tigers being overly amped and missing early shots.

Control Pressey like we did @ home, and we will win. Simple as that.

Rebounding continues to be our achilles heel.
One of these fine days we're gonna make it a priority.

Judging by some of the game signs, I would say the gators are in for rude/classless crowd.

Looking forward to seeing how we play in another SEC road game.
Hope our D plays to it's potential and we don't try to 'live or die' by the 3.
C'mon Gators!!!!!!

We're second in the conference in rebounding margin. We're 17th in the country out of more than 300 schools. You're hoping for...what, exactly?

Early prediction time: big game by Scottie and PY, Prather will be the x factor. And a decent win by us.
