So it had nothing to do with Tim's practices stinking according to his QB coach -- interesting. Nonbelievers, what say you? Wasn't that the main defense as to why Tim never saw the field? He would stink it up in practice?

Tim didn't play because Rex was trying to save his ass. This was made apparent when Ryan went from the 1st string QB to the third string QB. 3rd stringer gets sacked 11 times in one game so now he goes back to the first string. If Tebow got a start and won the game, the Jets media, fans, hell the city of NY would have massacred Ryan on every media outlet. It would have been a sight to see. No idea how Ryan kept his job. Hope Tebow gets a fair shot somewhere

I read "then-offensive coordinator Tony Sparano" and thought it said "Tony Soprano." Now he could run a killer offense!

Interestingly enough, Cavanaugh is the Bears QB coach now working for the new HC, can't recall his name, who has worked Tim out before and likes him. It may have to wait until a release is given by the Jets, but I think Chicago is a possible destination.

I think New England could be a possibility as well.

I hope Tebow doesn't end up in NE. He will never play, you don't take Tom Brady off the field. Arizona, KC, Jax, and Minnesota are his best chances to see the field in my opinion. Maybe Philly has an outside chance but I doubt Chip Kelly takes a chance his first year as an NFL head coach

Two salaries come to mind: Sanchez's and Ryan's. The reason Tim wasn't given a fair shot is because the Jets didn't want to eat his contract and Ryan wanted to avoid the same fate as Sparano and Tanny.

Ugly business but it is real. Everyone is out for themselves.

I would think he is a better back up option than Campbell and Cutler has been getting hurt every year behind that o-line.

There is no way that Tebow is going to go to Chicago as long as Cutler is there as a QB. That guy whines and cries about everything, can you imagine how he would react to having the fans cheer for Tebow every time he comes in? If you think Sanchez had a hard time with it just multiply that times 10 for Cutler

Cutler is a complete jerk, as I think most fans realize. I don't think he could coexist with Tebow either. As you sa,y Sanchez was a basket case after Tebow arrived even though he didn't publicly pout, the way Cutler would. Orton wasn't exactly Mr.Congeniality either, but no one cared about his reaction. This is a dilemma for Tebow and any team that would bring him in. Unless the organization really wants him badly this will be a tough hurdle for any organization to deal with. Tebow's own popularity has turned out to be his worst problem.

Discrimination is rampant everywhere these days. Why should the NFL be any different? Pro-life white guys are not treated well in the greater NYC area. I know from personal experience.

Needs to go to New Orleans. Take time and learn from one of the best in the game. If you go back and look at Drew Brees stats from this first couple years compared to now it is night and day. Maybe the same for Tim.

It sure is hard for a player like Tim Tebow to fit in especially when a lot of us think he is capable of playing in the pros.

...same for a lot of QBs in the NFL.

Look up Alex Smith's numbers in his first few years...contrast them with the last two seasons (when he's also had a lot of talent on the team surrounding him).
