Why wouldn't they be stoked? They just endured Joker Phillips for 3 years..... They haven't seen the kind of recruiting improvement that Stoops has provided in the last 5 months in like.... well.... Ever.

I heard 47,000 of them only attended because thought they were going to see the Turtleman playing QB...

UK fans are excited. The rason why so many were there is because it was actually a fund raiser to pay the UK basketball recruits.
