How about snow skiing? Please. Just strap these on and go real fast down that hill. Seems much like auto racing....

Ever tried that? Yeah, you'll go real fast down that hill . . . and you'll keep going faster . . . and faster . . . and faster . . . until you can't stop and eventually kill yourself or someone else.

But it looks so easy watching it from the Lazy Boy in the living room. There can't possibly be any skill, strategy or technique involved.

I have. Numerous times. It's fun as heck. The fast part, not the killing part. I am just pissed that eventually wind resistance and friction limits your ability to keep accelerating - and hills dont go on forever unfortunately.

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president." Author Unknown

If you're at a real mountain (no, North Carolina ski areas do not count) then you'll be going way too fast to hold it together. Try hitting the birds of prey in Beavercreek or any other place where they hold the downhill. I don't usually hit the groomers since off piste is much more fun but occasionally tucking your ears back is cool too.
