Just ordered my ticket for the NCAA Semi & Final at Villanova May 24 & 26!

Click on "purchase tickets" and it takes you to the Villanova site.

FLAX vs Loyola - Tuesday, March 5, 2013
There has been some discrepancy over the start time of tomorrow's game with Loyola (MD). Just contacted the Lacrosse office and verified that it WILL begin at 1:00 p.m. This is a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. Hope there will be a crowd there!

Gatorbogey, that's awesome that you bought the tickets. Go see the Gator parents at the tailgate. They are super-welcoming and a flat-out hoot.
It's true that the mens and womens games are significantly different. Reminds me of the old saw: "England and the United States are two countries divided by a common language." The women's game is more about technique and team play. You don't have brute force to fall back on. (Bias alert: I'm the girls commissioner for a league in Virginia.)
In particular, as compared to other field sports for women, lacrosse is *very* fast and *very* physical. My daughter is a 9th grader who did a practice session with a friend and college coach on Sunday. My daughter played D on her. The other girl sent pictures of the bruises.
Gatorbogey, can we get a game thread started for the Loyola game?
