Stop bringing that logic and clarity here. You'll rob all these Florida fans a chance at the cathardic process of demonizing an entire rival fanbase because of minority posts on...catspause!
Good grief you guys. Its like, after the win last night many of you have become disrespect detectives... Espn didn't give Uf enough props, Noel's injury has gotten too much attention, an 11 yr old on catspause said this, a 14 yr old said that...

Aren't you lumping all of us in together with this post, while telling Gator fans not to do the same with posters on the Kentucky boards?

Big group of Kentucky fans near me did not applaude or stand and recognize Wounded Warriors at half-time. That is really pathetic and classless!

Nope. By saying "all these Gator fans" Im' simply referring (literally) to all of the gator fans that have made posts that correspond with what I was saying. I didnt' refer to the group as one.
I wouldn't have a problem with anyone saying "all these Kentucky fans who think yada yada yada..." That would be appropriately calling out the offending fans and differentiating them from fans who do not fit the same description.
This is MUCH different than making blanket generalizations that are all inclusive.

Come to think of it, why didn't they roll out an MRI machine when Tebow was knocked out on their field?
I'm feeling delayed outrage!

Thats actually (and I'm not being sarcastic) a good question that I don't have the answer to. But, apparently, 7 pages worth of people do.

My head hurts too bad to read all the posts but if UK fans are complaining that's bs. It was handled in a professional and classy way. Florida has always been classy. Some UK fans need to realize like I said all along enjoy last year it won't happen again.

If you want to put a player back in play for a game, you do it mainly based on clinical judgment, because a negative X-ray doesn't make sure "nothing is broken". There are micro fractures that will not be seen on X-ray, that may progress if you don't rest them. If a player had a significant injury and pain, he needs an MRI. An X-ray is a good companion but not the gold standard, not even close.

That's how they're commonly used all over this great land on game days. No one else here has ever had an X-ray and then continued playing? Even heard of such a thing?
|
No risk of further damage diagnosed on an X-ray? Dude I am an musculoskeletal radiologist, that is simply not true. It is a clinical judgement. If they sent you back based on an X-ray, you probably didn't really need it to begin with.

It might have something to do with Noel's behavior during the game. He twice took cheap elbow shots at Murphy and Prather and he grabbed Boynton and swung him around.
Like I said in the thread that got closed, I never root for injuries and I hope he is okay, but he was playing on the dirty side last night and that probably didn't sit well with the fans.
Still, they should never cheer for an injury, so if they did, that is classless.
Go Gators!

I watched the game twice and those cheap elbow shots happen every game and I would bet that Noel receives more then he gives out.
In fact your post proves just how little you have watch Noel play because he is about the most cool headed kid in the game.
I saw no problem with Florida's treatment of Noel. It was a damned accident with no contact involved. Noel landed wrong. That is it.

Oh no -- sorry, we don't need your opinion.
Sure, you may have much more background in the medical field here than anyone else, but the team of "experts" on this thread should have the final say to whether Shands needs to open up another wing inside of the O'Dome.

I suppose it would be stupid of me to point out one thread on Rupp's Rafters titled:
"Classy Florida Fans"
First post
i just wanna say that it was very classy the way the O-dome respected us during Nerlens down time. I think sometimes we forget that these guys & alot of fans are still young adults! I know we respected Turner during his 40 point explosion, last night was real life changing!

Those kind of (numerous) posts on catspause must actually be fans of other teams posing at UK fans. Maybe just representatives sent from the actual university in hopes of making the deplorable fan base look a little better...
