Maybe that's why we have several good Kentucky fans posting on Gator Country instead of that Kentucky message board.

I figure most of these posters, making the negative posts, are peeved due to the loss and are looking for something or someone to rag on.

Well, they are from Kentucky -- maybe they were concerned about laminitis setting in.
Give me a break with that garbage.
Hope he recovers quickly but that criticism is ridiculous.

couldn't care less of their opinion.
no visting staff ever runs to an opposing player EVER. the fans were extremely gracious
BD obviously asked JC at the end of the game if he had any info on Noel.
the gators were all class in all respects.

That forum reminds me of a the kind of site you would have if you gave a bunch of people in a loony bin computers and memberships. No doubt they get a huge amount of hits but trying to wade through all of those threads is an exercise in futility. Doesn't mean they don't have good members but they sure do have a bunch of kids, or something, that post on there.

They are a fan base full of whiners, love the ones saying UF is to blame because of where the basket sits, apparently baskets just float in Lexington.

I was at an NBA game Monday night during which a player was injured and was down on the floor. Exactly the same thing happened. The player, Barbosa of the Celtics was on the floor for a good 5 minutes and then carried by his team mates off the floor. At that time I said why doesn't someone invent a device to make it easier to transport and injured person. Oh wait they have..... the wheel chair.
And I say again, why don't arenas have a large wheel chair for moving injured players off the floor?

it might be wise for UF to issue a statement about protocols and methods for last night - or any injury. obviously there are some UK fans upset about the treatment/lack thereof offered to Noel.

I was waiting to see how the fans would react and all I heard were cheers when he walked off. Maybe it was different if you were at the game.
It might have something to do with Noel's behavior during the game. He twice took cheap elbow shots at Murphy and Prather and he grabbed Boynton and swung him around.
Like I said in the thread that got closed, I never root for injuries and I hope he is okay, but he was playing on the dirty side last night and that probably didn't sit well with the fans.
Still, they should never cheer for an injury, so if they did, that is classless.
Go Gators!

I was at the game and heard nothing but silence. Many of our fans even cheered the UK players that ran off the court when they came back on after taking Noel to the locker room. All class. They def cheered for Noel when he sat up and when he was being taken off.

So we don't have gurneys, wheelchairs, etc., available for injuries at the O Dome ?
Seems like we should.

Very classy indeed. They really have no argument, except maybe we could of had a wheelchair. I am sure we will next time. Our trainer even came to check on Noel to see if he could help. They should be commending our fans for class.

I do have to say that as I watched everything I was wondering myself why there wasn't a cart or wheelchair of some kind to help carry him off. If it was one of our players on someone else's court we would have been asking some of the same questions.

As our fans gave Noel a standing O as he exited the court I wondered what UK fans would do if the shoe was on the other foot. What if Joakim Noah or Udonis Haslem got hurt at UK- would the fans be as classy?
Just wondering.
