I am not upset with urbs other than the fact that I knew all along he would bolt to tosu the second that job opened up. Also considering his last year here he really wasn't.

Yes you did stop our offense very well while there but yes I was holding a grudge. From the day you got here and every time I hear you speak and your excitement about coaching our Gators, working your tale off and being a straight shooter, you are now one of my all time favorite coaches. Thanks coach.

Maybe he would give back a year's wages?
Oh, plus that extra million JF handed him as he and Shelly were loading the moving van.

I'm thankful for the 2 NC's we received under Meyer's coaching. After all it took us 10 years to get our 2nd NC. For this, I thank you Urban.
My only issue is how he planned his exit strategy. "My health my health, etc..." Then he comes back, then his health again and takes a 1 year vacation to the media, then its OSU as his home. All this in a couple of years. It just looks like to most of GatorNation that he was fickle, delusional, or simple didn't care.

Love an hate are emotions. Football boils down to stats and records. That is why the national media understand how good a coach Meyer is, and why some of you sound like spurned teens.
Get over it.

I like Meyer. I'm grateful for the championships.
What he built in Gainesville was great, just not sustainable. He realized it and stepped down.
That's the difference between what he did and SOS did, and what Saban has done in Alabama. Meyer is a great coach, produces immediate success, but not the type of program that can sustain an 8-10 year run (at least from what we have seen so far).
I'm glad we got him for the time that we did, and I'm glad we have WMC now.
Thankful for Meyer and his run.
In Christ forever,
Mike

just because he helped the Gators win 2 BCS titles doesn't mean everybody has to bury their faces in his a$$. undeniably, he quit on the Gators and dumped the Gator Nation with a load of bull$hit about family time, etc. while admitting he had left the program "broken." everybody has warts and Meyer is not above having them pointed out and being held accountable...

btw, don't think for a second that moving to the Big 2 and Little 8 wasn't a calculated move to avoid the unparalleled competition and excellence of the SEC.
