Perhaps a little background is needed.

And it might be best if I am a bit vague.

Basically, I am in a rela. It is a generally happy rela. I am not looking. I do not consider myself to be a player at all. I am not exactly young anymore either. I know what my life is and it is fine with me.

I do a pretty good job of providing for my family and so forth.

I am not bored or going through a mid-life crisis. There is no crisis. I am happy and secure but I guess I am also a bit off center too when you get right down to it.

So, I had to take my dog, she really isn't mine you understand, it is a dog we got from the pet rescue for my youngest son. Anyway, I, of course, get stuck taking the damned mutt to the vet. I am there, minding my own damned business, alone in the lobby waiting room area with the dog. This happened a few weeks ago. A really pretty petite hispanic young lady comes out and starts putting dog food away in this counter out there in the lobby area near me. She sees me. I see her.

I didn't really look at her at first.

I was dressed like a moron like I am usually dressed when it isn't a work day. I was wearing sweats and a long sleeved black waffle top shirt that is long johns I got at Target but it was a cold day so I wear it as outer wear.

It never crossed my mind that she might be even looking at me in any way.

But she was. I think. She kept coming out there. And then as I was paying at the end she struck up a conversation with me and it was unmistakable.

So, as I was standing there and it was taking one of the other workers an eternity to figure out all the charges I looked up on the board they had up and saw her name. I then looked for her on Facebook and found her.

I found out a little more about her on FB.

I am kidding about offering her money.

I can't really pursue anything with her. But I definately can't forget her either. And with Val Day coming I was thinking there must be some way I can do something to let her know I am sorry we didn't meet a long time ago.

Something cool, hopefully not creepy, but something kind of movie-ish.

I guess I am just being weird. Sorry.
