I'm not a big fan of pulling the, "Without Jarvis Jones, we beat Georgia." card, but his performance against us (both times) was as impressive as anything I've ever seen. If ever you were going to make a case that one player almost single-handedly decided the outcome of a game, you could make one for Jarvis Jones. I'm glad he's gone.

Still, I think Grantham put together a heck of a plan in that game, and they just beat us.

This, its not like it was a fluke loss to a bad team- UGA was probably the best or second best team we played all year (depending on whether or not you buy that A&M improved dramatically over the course of the year)- we lost to UGA in a close game because of the same reason that we beat FSU in a close game-- turnovers- we had turnover luck work for us against FSU and against vs. UGA- when you don't have a top level offense these things a back breakers.

He has not shown a whole lot since he has been here but it is very possible. I am betting that him having to sit out a year will drive him even harder. I believe Jones was told he would never play again and perhaps that is what drove him to be the player he became.
