Tortuga Music Festival...South Florida
http://www.tortugamusicfestival.com/
Not crazy about Country music, but I am going to see Sister Hazel, Michael Franti and G. Love.
Not sure if it will actually happen since they haven't announces the dates/times for each act.
Less than 2 weeks away, I can't imagine a reason why they would hold that information.

If you go, check back and let us know how it was.
Wife and I almost got tickets, but it seemed like a bit of a crapshoot, not to mentions $$, just to see a couple of acts we like. Guess, Ive gotten too old for these festivals. More than happen to pay for assigned seats with designated times for acts I like, but the random times/conditions, etc of festivals has lost its appeal for me

Scheduling comes later.
I will say don't miss Bright Light Social Hour. Think something along the lines of Rare Earth. Very good live act.

There is no excuse for the schedule to not be out less than 2 weeks before the festival. It's kind of shady. I looked at the websites of the artists and here is what I found. Looks like they have their 2 headliners playing on Saturday.
G. Love, Ben Harper, Eli Young Band, Eric Church and Kenny Chesney are playing Saturday.
Avett Brothers, Sister Hazel, Michael Franti, Jake Owen, Lynyrd Skynyrd are Sunday.

Only 2 weeks out? Didn't notice that, does seem a bit disorganized.
Look at the bright side. You can see Sister Hazel most anywhere in Florida during the year without having to endure Kenny Chesney or what remains of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Don't know where you live but Hangout Fest in Gulfshores, AL always books a strong lineup. That one is mid-May.

I saw that last week. Looks like Eric Church is playing Sunday (even though his website still says Saturday) They lost Gary Allan (no idea who he is anyways). Their Facebook page shows pictures of them setting up, so I guess it will be happening. Just very unorganized and not very customer friendly for their 1st year. Hope it will be a great event!

Awesome weekend of music.
Michael Franti always has a high energy show.
Chesney and Church were great.
Sister Hazel was awesome, even though Drew couldn't make it (brother in law passed away) Their show was moved back an hour because Gary Clark Jr. had "travel complications" It worked out because they originally had them on a small crappy stage.
Excellent festival for 1st time. I give them a lot of credit since it seemed shaky from the start.
One thing they need to change is to accept credit cards at all bars/food stops. They had plenty of ATM's, but they are making enough money on the food/drinks, they can handle the 2% credit card charges.

Thanks for the review. Maybe we will go next year, get a hotel room at the beach and just hang out. It seems that they lucked out on the weather also.
