Good question. I witnessed an almost fight yesterday between two people who are normally friendly with each other. I know at least one of them is on anti-depressants and he just went off badly. After it was over several of us were talking about the possibility these meds could be causing folks to become more unstable.

Ironic that they're classified as "mood-stabilizers."

There is a shoot out going on at Bear Mountain. They have him located in a cabin that they have surrounded. Two cops purportedly shot already, this is not going to end well.

Looks like he may have shot himself. The cabin is burning and he is in it. I'm betting CS gas canisters started the fire. He will have to be identified by his dental records. Very sad for all concerned.

He may have been wounded in the earlier shootout.
I would not trust the coroner's report, nor the official police report of what happened either.
It looks more like a planned, tactical assassination by fire, than anything else, because any further risk of life was not worth it. That will be denied, of course.

And from the perspective of the LAPD, a trial wasn't worth it.

I don't disagree with that. Risky in a way, but the sympathies are with the LAPD and San Bernardino SO on this one.

Have to agree. To them he was a cop-killer/traitor already. They set the place on fire. I take it the "good cops" knew no hostages held inside so they essentially assassinated him. So it goes I guess.
Heard also report of a gunshot fired during the fire. Would not be surprised if he was already wounded and shot himself when he knew the fire would do him in.

Did anyone catch the philandering LA mayor's God-talk ? It was "God" and "prayers" every other word.

They better hope it's Dorner who died in the blase. The audio evidence is pretty damning.

Tony Vilar (his real name before he changed it to appeal to Latin voters) failed the bar 4 times and is one of the biggest morons in politics.

Fellow Carolla fan? Don't leave out his penchant for Telemundo hostesses.
