U Pick: 2013 Recruiting Class Sleeper?
Just for fun...who do you think is the undersung, undersold or underappreciated sleeper in this class?
I'm going to go with a kid I think is a pretty obvious choice in Joey Ivie. That kid's motor never stops and he's got a great frame to hold plenty of weight. He seems plenty quick and looks faster on film than his 40 times indicate. On top of all that he just seems like a great kid.
Second place for me is Nick Washington. His film speaks for itself with regards to his ball skills and hitting ability. But Muschamp's comments about him being the best recruiter in the class is exactly what I want to see in a safety: enthusiasm, attitude and leadership. Think Nick's got the potential to be a Brandon Siler type personality to our D.

I am going with Bostwick. He might have more talent than anyone we signed this year and fans dont seem pumped about him for some reason. Others would be Ivey for the same reasons as the OP. Hawkins will be a very good football player for Florida at WR. Jarran Davis is going to be hard to keep off the field in a few years and comes from a great high school program

I go with Nick Washington. His coach was on 1010 talking with Joe Cowart yesterday about how Nick has started for 5 years at Trinity (remember Guss Scott). He explained how smart Nick was in knowing what everyone on the defense was supposed to be doing and how he will keep everyone in place. Coach Dorminey has been there for many years and said Nick has always been low key but focused. Did you notice who's LOI was in first.

I think Trenton Brown could be a monster for us. Rivals has him as a 3 star, but for his size, he's playing OT, which really shows good feet and speed. Once he goes through the S&C, he'll definitely be physically able to handle nearly any DE. If he just keeps developing, he could easily be a solid contributor coming in and easily be starting for us going forward.

IMHO a four star recruit can not be considered a sleeper, so I will go with VH3... no seriouly Jarrad Davis

This.
We hear all the time about Anzalone, Rolin, Macmillan ... Davis is a solid get. If you're looking sleeper, this is my gut feeling.

I agree with Davis but I'm going to go with Adam Lane. Not really a sleeper but he seems to get overshadowed by Kelvin Taylor. I think Lane is going to be a beast.

If we're talking future production vs. their recruiting ranking, I'm going with Chris Thompson. Didn't make any All-American lists I'm aware of, but he worked his butt off to get an offer.
Keeps doing that and he'll put up respectable numbers at UF, even though he's going to have a lot of competition the next few years at the WR position.

Yeah, some of these guys that have been picked so far are not sleepers. Four stars aren't sleepers. Bostwick is not a sleeper.
I will take Trevon Young. That guy is an athlete. He can move and plays with aggression. Not sure he can be a tight end. His video doesn't show him catching any passes, just blocking the crap out of people and showing a very quick first step on defense.

I dont think Botswick is a sleeper but everybody is sleeping on him. The problem with asking about sleeper in this class is almost every prospect is a 4 star player on at least one of the services.

Yeah, I dont like rules. I think Alvin is going to be great. All he needs is a QB that can get him the ball.

I know its a joke but people do need to stop doing this. Jeff is a much better football player than Alvin right now
