Yes I know he had no offer after he rescinded it...some talk about requesting him to recommit and having failed to do so, was told we would not hold a spot for him, after which he felt jilted, despite not reassuring CWM we weren't just another hat on the table.

I believe the thread was to announce his commitment to the fighting kiffins.

I really believe it boils down to staff wanting true safeties and real LBs more than anything. Powell is somewhere in between and imho two full seasons from playing. Staff will recruit 5 LBs in next two classes that can play right away.
