Some notes from Champ:
--This class is very balanced
--Met all the requirements he was looking for
--proud of all of his coaches for their hard work
--Talking about Nick Washington and his recruting prowess. Jacksonville kids were very important for us. The Jax kids gained alot of momentum for them
--He expects bug things from Ahmad Fullwood. Great toughness. Great ball skills, hard to cover downfield.
--Star rankings mean absolutely nothing at all to him. He thinks services should use his ratings.
--Rod Johnson- hes glad Rod took a step back to think about his decision. Very happy to have him back.
--Jay Nard- very pleased to have him.
--Coach is very comfortable with class and is very excited
--Fred Taylor helped Kelvin sift through all the crap he had to go through. Kelvin is very driven and mature. Alot of that is attributed to Freddy T.

Hell, we have the number one class on ESPN and the number three class on Rivals. Looks like the stars line up pretty well with Muschamp's rankings.
You don't...you don't think Muschamp is moonlighting as a recruiting analyst at ESPN, do you?

--VHIII- Coach is impressed with the way his father coached him and believes the kid will be big time.
Same thing with Marcell Harris.
--on Coach Robinson- outstanding job, great coach, very bright future here at UF.
--comfort level with Driskel's backups. Not comfortable at all with no proven back up
--it says alot about our young men that they committed and stuck with their commitments in the end.
--Matt Rolin is coming along well from injury
--on Chris Thompson--came to camp and competed. Earned his spot. Vertical stretch guy, good ball skills. Needs to get bigger but can fly.
--on filling needs- we wanted to sign 4 competitive guys at LB 5 Wrs--wanted to make sure they want to compete. All I can do is promise you an opportunity
--on importance of signing day--very insigniificant for the youg man. They already know where they going. Signing day is not as important as ESPN makes it out to be
--on how tough it is in SEC. Much tougher in SEC than at Texas because of who we have to recruit against. Imprtant to get out and evaluate the talent
--on Harris, Neal-- both camped at UF. MH can cover slot. Great zone skills great tackler. Very similar games. KiKi- good man coverage. Both Very physical. Both very good range.
--on Adam Lane--a beefed up back. one cut runner.. greta vision..tough to hit
--on A Bailey--slot receiver. Loves that Bailey played QB. Great leadership. great communicator. Alvin has a ton of playmaking ability
--on getting 5 Wrs--We needed depth and talent and we taken a step in that direction. D Robinson doing good things in weight room. Coach said hes is very good friends with D Robinsons coach
--These kids will decide how much they play.
--on this being a line of scrimage league...3 freshmen will be given chance at mike
would like to add anothe OL and DL if he could. 15-17 is where hed like to be.
never have enough pass rushers. We need girth. and strength up front.
--Anzalone and Mcmillan better be ready...theyll have a ton of chances. Mcmillan took a punt 80 yrds for TD when coach watched his game. Both have great instincts. Very good short area explosiveness..very good length. Simial to Jelani and Jon
--on kids with good GPA's and great character...very important. Tells his coacehs DONT fall in love with their film. They need to be able to compete on and off the field. Look at transcripts..our team last year had great character...came from behind 8 times says alot about our kids.

Says he will pass up on a good player if the character and the transcript don't look right. He wants good people with character and will not compromise what he believes on as a coach for a good player.

Are we calling Keanu Neal "Kiki" now? Because that would be awesome.

talking about the new guys on the D line, he said they will get opportunity probably more than they want depending on how much they like to eat. Classic Muschamp.

--Brantley and Bostwick---Talking about good depth on the DL. They'll get every opportunity in the world to play. If theyre not the best at position they wont ply
--on the "hat dance" on NSD...he doesn't care for it. Today was pretty nerve racking...hes tense and stressed until he gets the LOIs he's waiting for. Talking about how much time and effort goes into NSD and things leading up to it. Loves to see the development of his kids through graduation.
THE END....
Notoriousgator is done transcribing for the day!! LOL

I believe him when he says it. Meyer does it different.
