Danny Wuerffel new IRS acting commissioner.
Oops....sorry...that's Daniel Werfel:
Quote:
Daniel Werfel, a senior official at the Office of Management and Budget, has been named acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, according to a White House official.
President Obama announced Wednesday that acting commissioner Steven Miller had stepped down amidst a scandal in which the IRS targeted conservative groups.
It is not clear whether Werfel will be nominated to fill the vacancy full-time, but he is considered to have a good relationship with Senate Republicans and has won confirmation from from the upper chamber.

If it were Wuerffel, he'd have to have a picture with his Heisman on their website. That would be awesome.

As long as he gives extra scrutiny to UGA and FSU 501(c) groups, I'm on board.

Now this would be awesome!
Danny Wuerffel heading up the IRS and Tim Tebow running the FBI!
The good Lord knows we certainly could use these two guys of integrity and honesty taking charge of these two important Federal agencies! Be great fresh air in DC!

Unfortunately not our Danny.
I doubt if obsama would consider he or Tim qualified for a administration job, just on ideological grounds.
For that matter I doubt either Danny or Tim would want to be involved with him, either. They are, after all, men of INTEGRITY.

I thought maybe you were implying it was funny to imagine obama nominating two people who wouldn't lie.

Actually, Danny would probably be targeted as one of the IRS's questionable activities, given his faith and probable ideological bent...

Danny Wuerffel running the IRS would be like dogs climbing trees and cats chasing cars.
It is worth remembering, however, that even a tax collector was called by Jesus to be a disciple.

But that tax collector changed his ways. Unlike our current mob of tax collectors at the IRS.

Well, yeah, but Jesus gave him a chance when everybody else had given up on him.
