NSD is almost here!
Some people don't think Florida will make a lot of noise on Wednesday. Florida has a chance to land Ramsey, Bower, Bostwick, and Clark to name a few. What do you guys think? I think the Gators land Ramsey and Clark. I also think Bostwick or Bower will be wearing Orange and Blue. With the class that Champ already has put together that would just put the icing on the cake! Go Gators!

I'm with you! I really hope Florida can get Ramsey though. Just Because FSUCKS feel they have a chance at him not to mention it would give Florida the best DB class possibly ever.

All four would be wonderful, but I really want Bostwick and Bower, build up that D-line!

I think we hold on to everyone and get McEvoy, Clark and Bostwick. Not the most glamorous close, but a solid end to a good class.

NSD is just another day in the process to me. This class is the epitomy of that - no razzle dazzle needed by ESPNU - it was built using the "if you want in, then commit already!" philosophy ... and I LOVE it. Great class, no need for last day theatrics.
The proof will be on the field, not in a recording studio...

Texas, miami, and fsu better close strong or those 3 programs are going to have some serious issues.

Limeygator hit the nail on the dead. I think Champ and company made a strong statement this year as well. If you De-commit don't think you can just get back in. Yes, they did let ROD back in but they were not happy with him.

Not losing anyone on signing day would be huge. After that, bostwick then clark, would be icing.

Not sure what's going on there but they had top 5 classes 10', 11', 12'. How many can they actually take this class? It is unusual because CWM has, to our delight, duplicated the Texas model of having most of the class committed well before NSD. In fact I don't recall a year Texas has "closed strong" but instead just signed their committed players.
But yeah, clearly Texas needs to land another 4+ or it's going to come back to haunt, especially if this is the beginning of a new trend for them.

Tell you right now... FSU and Miami will not close strong this year. Especially FSU, after losing their top two recruiters in Coley and Gran. What did someone here say FSU's class was ranked right now... 29th?

Year of the Fiip.
If anything, UF benefitted the most and was victimized the least (so far). We should count our blessings in having guys like Lane, Taylor, Bailey, McMillan, Neal and Fullwood commit early and hardly waver.
And where would we be without Nick Washington? He's the most valuable recruit in this class before setting foot on campus. The kid has a great career in front of him, if not in the NFL but in sales. If I was in a field like commercial real estate or high end industrial equipment manufacturing, I'd be keeping an eye on this kid. Let's make sure Nick gets his own thread on Wednesday. He deserves special recognition.
