This site has some interesting information. You can even see how refs call particular teams, conferences, over time, etc. Should be an interesting reference to see how the refs may call a game before we play it.

For the Ole Miss game, we had:
Tony Greene
Ron Groover
CJ Washington

Average fouls called / std dev for home teams in 2012:
Greene, -2.8 / 3.1
Groover, -0.9 / 4.2
Washington, +0.1 / 3.8

So, with last night's home team being +9.0 in fouls called it was obviously an aberration.

I was at the game last night. Donovan was an agitated and animated with the refs as I've seen him in a long, long time. He was particularly frustrated with the Zebra with Bat Ears (I think it's Greene).

Can't blame BD at all...so many phantom fouls called on us, and obvious fouls not called on Ole Miss. And I usually don't think officiating is imbalanced.

Pat was very frustrated with the officiating last night too, but that's not a bad thing. He got pissed and elevated his game to double-double standards.

Ah, that explains it. I think the guy with bat ears is actually near blind and calls games based on his highly sophisticated sonar detection system. The Rowdy Reptiles were so loud it was throwing off his sonar, thus he was making inaccurate calls. So you really cannot blame him, he was doing the best he could under the circumstances.

I thought the refs were bad all around. Although I think we got the brunt of them, there were some questionable calls that didn't go Ole Miss' way.

When the fouls called are 19-10 and the freethrows are 3-21 something isn't right.

To be honest I didn't think the game was that poorly officiated. We had a lot of uncontested layups. They didn't foul us because they weren't even in position most the time.

Not what I saw. Several times when Scottie drove into the lane he was tripped, pushed, knocked down, grabbed and he never went to the line because nothing was ever called. Refs were allowing them to be very physical with him. On the other hand, Henderson from Ole Miss fell down on 2 different occasions and refs called a foul on the nearest Gator neither of whom touched him. It was very bizarre officiating and very one sided.
