The problem with these halogen minerals is many aren't harmful in small quantities or are beneficial in small quantities.

You would die if you didn't get chloride through diet.

Possibly, but who knows. Controlling mineral content in water isn't exactly free, either.

You can brush your teeth with baking soda, for god's sake.
