Right, older ones still have barbells, benches and usually either a squat rack or power rack. But the newer ones dont have that stuff as they are really catering to people who dont exactly want to work out.

I used to workout in a place the size of a subway shop. Clean, but very small. But I still got the most out of it because in the end as long as I can find the weights to lift, that's all that matters to me.

Really? That's why that other dude said what he said about PF. Also, I thought the new ones had the weights - mine looks to be new. It's definitely clean.

We're good OBOB, I like a healthy debate on this subject. Mainly because I'm just getting back into lifting and I'm fortunate enough to try different things.
The money I save goes a long way.

I have been in 4 (DC, Miami, Jacksonville and Las Vegas) the two that opened in the last couple of years (Miami and Vegas) did not have barbells. The ones that had been around a little longer (Jax and DC) both had the stuff I can actually use. I dont know exactly how old they are just that they were not brand new when I was there and I think they came around before PF went all in with the idea of not marketing to strong people.

Do you think PF is going to do away with the free weights in the future? Because if they do that then I will go somewhere else.

I once worked an Bally Fitness, and yes that was great there too.
I prefer a clean room with weights/benches and machines to workout with, not too into the stationary machines/stuff.

I've seen that stuff at my local GNC. I never buy there anymore - too expensive.
What's up with that C4, C12, and all that brand's stuff?

Not sure what they plan to do at individual clubs as they upgrade to new equipment. Guess you just need to ride it out and hope they keep the free weights while you are a member.

Re-post:
Back to the subject at hand: Here's an interesting article excerpt that mentions Ray Lewis and DAV in the same breath.
Quote:
LONGEVITROL – Truly is the ultimate spray with liposomal Deer antler technology. Don't Cheat – Compete!
Athletes such as Baltimore Raven's Ray Lewis, were given Velvet Antler by then assistant coach Hue Jackson. Other athletes who use this include Cincinnati Bengals Roy Williams who was quoted as saying "I use the spray all the time…. My body felt good after using it. I did feel a difference."
Certainly there is no doubt that many Oakland Raiders are using this powerful spray. "Undoubtedly hundreds of professional athletes are" said a source in a locker room.
Earth's Bounty, the exclusive supplier of Longevitrol doesn't sell or give out names of their customers but suffice to say some are in sports, including Olympic athletes.
Please don't be fooled by other products like pills or poorly produced sprays. HGH, IGF-1 and Diversified Growth Factors all are large, complex proteins and as such can be diminished by stomach acids if taken as a capsule and if not made correctly as a spray will not be useful at all in your body. Earth's Bounty Longevitrol is the trusted proven source for increasing IGF-1 and other Growth Factors all without hormones or steroids!
|
Bye bye Ray Lewis.

I must be an outlier. I prefer Zen-like silence when I work out.

I like to listen to it when I run too. Time goes by faster that way, less stress, less pain, less monotony too.
