I stopped paying attention when he said he "trained" at planet fitness. If you cant deadlift in a gym.... It is NOT a gym.

Who said anything about "whole foods" they're talking about eating food in general. Which is great, fine by me.
Oh, and I'm not recommending crap to anyone, I'm saying what I take and what benefits I get out of it.
So take your creatine and be happy.

I'm sure Planet Fitness is a good place to work out for a lot of people, but yeah, it's almost universally reviled among people who are actually interested in physical fitness.

I dead lift at mine all the time genius. Also, I don't "train" for anything I workout to stay fit.

Hey gatorrick I wanted to let you know I got this great amino acid made by ON ( Optimum Nutrition ).
Here's the info:
Essential Amino Acids: tryptophan, valine, threonine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, phenylalanine, methionine.
Conditionally Essential: Arginine, crystine, tyrosine, histidine, glutamic acid
Non-Essential: aspartame acid, serine, glycine, alanine.
Only 17$ a month supply, figured you might like to check it out. It's liquid form, and taste like shit, but seems to work great.

It's cheap and clean, which is good enough for me.

Thanks friend, I'll have to look into it. If I can save more getting several aminos combined it's worth a look.
The good stuff always tastes like $hi!.
I buy almost half of those aminos separately, which does get pricy.

I went to planet fitness once with a friend and they ordered 100 pizzas? Then you saw a bunch of fatties coming in just to eat them and leave. I actually saw a few guys come in and grab a whole pizza!!! Lol it was funny actually, but to each their own!

The new Planet Fitness are most definitely what you are talking about. However, in some places they have older gyms from before they started the weird no lunks campaign that still have everything you need. I was a member at one in DC that was a dungeon like place where you could do everything you needed. Then I went to one in Miami and was shocked to find only Smith Machines and dumbbells up to like 70.

And yes always taste like crap! Like the pre workout C4 I know people who drink the pink lemonade just to do it, but the product itself sucks!

The point is that it's not cheap. It's terrible in terms of value.

Then they're not all the same, because we have tons of free-weights and several/types benches. But the dumbbells only go up to 75 pounds which kind of sucks.

Why do you say that? Do you know what/weights/machines are in mine? $10/month is cheap.

I won't bemoan any place to work out. I used to work out at the gym in Gainesville where it took 20 minutes to find matching plates and there were needles in the garbage in the bathroom. You can find a way to get the job done.
