Zach Abolverdi has a new piece on Muschamp's ability to flip recruits. Some interesting stuff here. Including:

All I got out of Chad Campbell's quote was. "I'm really bummed DeMarcus did not go to Clemson because I can't get that new car."
edit: But overall that was an awesome read, not about a recruit but about the process in general. Muschamp is very sincere when it comes to recruiting. The only time I don't believe what muschamp says is when he says certain players "have a knee" throughout the season.

That coach is a joke. He went above and beyond his boundaries, all so he could get him to play for HIS team. He did everything he could to convince him to go to Clemson. I have no problem with nudging him a little. But he crossed the line. I hope our coaches (high school) don't take it that far.

Honest, integrity--glad to see those hallmarks in our coaching staff. As the saying goes, "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." Thanks for the post.

Fowler said it was hard to see his son ditch FSU, but he didn’t want to force him to stick with the Seminoles. He eventually embraced Dante Jr. going to UF because of how Muschamp recruited him.

But it's true, Zanso. As a matter of fact, each player has two knees! (I am not trying to be a smart a$$. I find how Muschamp does that very entertaining. He says they have a knee or they have a hamstring. He does not say they have a knee injury. So, while technically not lying, he leads people to believe someone is injured when it very well could be disciplinary.)
The comments of those recruits are very telling. Our coaches tell them the truth, remain loyal to them, don't make promises they don't intend to keep, and don't bad mouth other schools. Very, very honorable.

Because that's the LOSER PLAY!!! I'm in sales and refuse to ever bad-mouth my competition. In fact, I once beat a guy out because my client found this so distasteful (told me about his bad mouthing as she awarded me the job).
