Kentucky at Ole Miss tonight at 9 PM on ESPN
I thought this would be a game of interest for NBN posters. Missouri is tied with us for the conference lead and Kentucky draws a lot of attention.
Who you gonna pull for?

You mean Ole Miss is tied with us for the conference lead?
I'm pulling for Ole Miss! I want a bigger game when we play them!

Yeah hard to know who to pull for in this one.
This is a huge week for UK. They are at UMs and at aTm. If they want to be on the good side of the bubble they need at least one of these.

This is going to be a hard game for us to win, but I hope we do. I expect them to wear their red jerseys, have Morgan Freeman do the pre game speech and make the atmosphere tough as hell for us.
Im interested to find out if UK has learned anything on the journey thus far. I expect Ole Miss to play A ball, so we are going to have to match them step for step. Usually I have a gut feeling, well with this team you just never know. Will Alex show up? Will Archie pass? Will Harrow score? Will Witjer not be a puss? Will Noel get two quick fouls? Will WCS play? Too many question marks for my taste!

Being dispassionate I would root for what is in the best interests of the team this year. We have two games against UK and one against Ole Miss at home. I think that UK winning this one gives the Gators the greatest "quality" on the 2013 NCAA resume if (and it is a BIG if) they win the three games against Ole Miss and UK in that scenario.
Then again taking the multi-season view of what is best for UF I hope that Ole Miss kills UK ...
and UK fails to make the NCAAs ...
and loses to a mid-major at Rupp in the first round of the NIT.

I'd like to see the SEC get four bids this year and a win would help UK immensely in that regard. I'd rather see them get a quality win against punkboy than us.

Yeah, I want OM to be undefeated in conference play when they come to Gainesvegas. O'Dome will be ROCKING for that.

I really, really want to see UK miss the tournament this year. It would help us immensely recruiting against them.

Some of the UK "one-and-done's" not getting drafted and a one or more Gator upperclassmen going 1st round would help even more.

I don't have a good feeling about tonight but it will be an interesting game one way or another. Definitely wish it was at home rather than on the road - not that we've played great at home but need all the help we can get.
I think it'd be in Florida's best interest (if we're min/maxing here) to pull for UK. Besides the fact that I think its in everyones best interest to pull for UK all the time, Kentucky is right on the verge of becoming two meaningless wins for Florida. I don't think the gap between the teams is so close that Kentucky improving makes for "pick'em" games when the teams match up. Really though, at this point its not like UK is going to finish as a powerhouse that could be great, great quality wins for you guys. It probably doesn't make a huge difference either way.
To win tonight, UK will have to go into a tough environment and have the bigger balls than the other team. We only have two guys who play like this (Noel and Goodwin) and Goodwin has a tendency to play in a way that negates his confident attitude.

In a season that seems to ofer few marquee match ups... There is a part of me that would like to see ole miss alive in Gainesville undefeated. That said, it is better for Florida is ole miss loses. I think uk will blast a&m on sat

The only way to match them with the one and dones is to make the deals with the AAU coaches and the agents. Billy won't do that and that's fine with me.

i would love for kentucky to be 2 meaningless wins for florida. if we go 16 - 2 or so in conference, we are getting a 1 or 2 anyway.

While it would be nice to see both teams undefeated in conference play come Saturday I have a strong feeling the Cats will come out of there with a win tonight. This might be the time of the season when they finally start utilizing there talent as a team.
