I'm shocked that the voters actually got something right putting Kansas ahead of Michigan

I'd be interested to see us against Kansas. McLemore is a tough match-up for us...well, for anyone really, and Withey is freakish down low. But Young had his best games last year against Davis and Sullinger, so he likes to rise to the occasion. Would be a fun battle to watch.

AP has us 4 but Michigan 1 not Kansas. Kansas #2, Indiana #3.
4 in both polls is as good as we could hope I would think. Just have to keep winning.

Why do you think that Kansas belongs ahead of Michigan? I think Michigan is the best team in the country right now. I think we are a close 2nd.
No idea why Indiana is ahead of us. That should take care of itself soon when Michigan beats them.
Great to see the Gators at #4. I think we are well positioned for a #1 seed if we tcb...

Just an opinion really. I think Michigan is going to get exposed for their lack of size and experience eventually. I also don't think that they are a really "tough" team either. Teams that rely on freshman can have let downs in the big games.
I think Kansas not only matches their athleticism and versatility but can beat them up down low.
I actually have Michigan as my 4th ranked right now. But I also think that Duke and Syracuse are better than Michigan. Just can't legitimately rank them as such due to their records.
just looking at their remaining schedule, I see potentially as many as 4-5 losses for them out there.

If we beat Ole Miss, then we would have a legitimate claim to be either one or two in the nation. Of course, we are also hitting the meat of our schedule and can expect to lose a couple of games down the stretch unless everything goes our way. This league has such terrible officiating on the road that you literally need to beat everyone by 15+ every game to erase the margin for error.

4 out of the next 5 at home though. Still the schedule looks to be tightening up in that they are playing every 3 days or so.

Mine is just as opinion too and I respectfully disagree. Burke and Hardaway have a decent amount of experience. They are both NBA players next year, plus Robinson.
Kansas relies on a Freshman.
I think Duke and Syracuse are looking at an early March exit.
If I could pick one team to be on the other side of the bracket, it would be Michigan. I think last year was the time they underachieved.
Getting back to the Gators...would you want to be ranked #1 in the country or do you think they might play better if they weren't?
