Wisconsin beats #12 Minnesota
45-44.
Up and down the court, racehorse basketball at its best.

Minnesota is way overrated. They look like a Big10 football team. Big, slow, and oafy. Illinois is bad. That conference is living on the reputation of a couple really good teams (Mich and Indiana) and a few pretty good teams (MSU, OSU, WIS). Mich St has a good record and is coming on of late, but is not a good offensive team. OSU is not as good as they have been the past few years and Wis is pretty much Wis. PSU, Iowa, Neb, NW are pretty bad. It's a better conference than the SEC, but I don't think they are the best conference. They have an outstanding non-conference record, hence the conference rpi #1, but the Big East is better imo.

Marquette won too. Nice day for UF's strength of schedule. It would be nice if UGa won a game from time to time now that UF is past them.

In conference wins by opponents don't mean much, say UGA loses
, well, we are going to beat whoever beat them. The teams to
Root for are Ariz, KSt, Wisconsin, Marq, FSU (ugh), MTST. In
Conference, keep rooting against UGA and UK.

I hope UGA starts winning as their coach might get fired and McGarity might hire a good one like Bruce Pearl. I think Pearl has another year on his NCAA show cause restriction. I don't want to see him in the SEC again

Good point. Fox hasn't shown any progress in his stint at UGA and is likely gone. And when the Dawgs get desperate, they have a history of hiring coaches that come with baggage (see Jim Harrick).

Also UCF and Air Force keep hovering around an RPI of 100. They could end up being quality wins if they end the season well.
