It appears to be easier to get kids with marginal grades into the Mississippi schools. And, like AZ said, their connections with the JUCOs out there help, as well as easier admissions of JUCO transfers. At UF, a JUCO has to have pretty good grades to get in.

I never said compete playing? I meant recruiting, and where did Texas A&M taking a step back come from? They won't go back

In the recent past, they have out-physicaled us on the line. I don't think that will be the case with our current staff.

I'm not talking the receint past. Only Bama, Auburn, UGA and Ole Miss have winning records against us.
I was just saying it seems a little funny to be talking down to a team that we have always had a problem beating, especially the way we have dominated the rest of the SEC excluding the teams mentioned above.

Ole miss and Texas A&M strengthening helps UF. Let Bama play the tough schedule like UF did last season. UF's prior OL injuries were a big factor in the UGA loss.

Tebow almost single handedly beat them the year before in Oxford. I remember it taking 5 DB's to tackle him on one running play near the goal-line. So owned? No so much. Just sayin' friend.

At least one thing's for sure, that Dan Mullen might have stayed too long at Miss. St. since Hugh Freeze is waking up the fan base with his team and recruiting.
They'll get the #1 recruit, and have other players that LSU or Bama might have interest in, but Freeze has won them over. It could be he's getting players with grade issues that can't qualify for UF. Bowden used to regularly recruit grade problem players for FSU and send them off to Juco or some College Prep school and then have them for 2-3 yrs.
It might take another 2 yrs., but watch out if he can keep it all together and not cross the line with the NCAA.
