Why do people ask these questions before either has even participated in a spring practice....., I just don't understand. It's all pure speculation until then.

I think we have enough studs in the secondary as of now that VHIII wont be needed as much to make an impact as Kelvin will on the offense, if that makes any sense.
Basically Kelvin will be thrust into a role where he will be able to make more of an impact right away. I expect both of them to be awesome right away though. AZ also is probably dead on, DeMarcus will have the biggest impact from day 1 though.

Tayor should have more impact, running backs adapt quicker to the next level. HS to DI , DI to pros. RB is an instint, CB have a learning curve that comes with time. RB should pick the traits needed at the next level quicker.

If Taylor ends up as the starting RB, he'll automatically get more pub.
But VH3 could end up having just as big of an impact.

Taylor simply due to the depth chart. As talented as VHIII is, I'd be surprised if he could usurp one of our starters at that position- we're both very deep and talented at CB.

Forget the depth at a certain postion, running back is a "more" natural athletic postion. Both the guys we are dicussing are great players,I believe a running back can adapt quicker. The skill sets for a DB takes longer. You are right on that we are deep at both postions.

Next year and next year alone?? VHIII on nickle back duty and spot db2 duty.
Career wise? Taylor, but by a slim margin.
Taylor has huge expectations on namesake alone. VH3 has a chance to show himself burried in a DB rich depth chart. The way UF has played underclassmen DBs lately has spoken for itself. The RB depth chart also means you have to beat out Jones/Lane (not a brown beleiver) to see time immediately . VGIII gets drafted higher if the both come out as JRs and neither (highly likely) redshirt with a draft similar as the next two years.

Disagree with this. I think VH3 is a future 1st round pick. Love KT, but don't have that same confidence with him.

Exactly. I suspect Hargreaves is on the two deep, especially if a corner or two moves to safety, maybe even ends up our third corner, but Roberson and Purifoy will be as good a cornerback tandem as there is nationally next season.

Tough pick. If Purifoy moves to Safety, I'd say VHIII... he'll probably go straight to a starting role.
I think RB will be by committee with Jones getting largest number of carries. KT will make plays, but not have the impact of a starting corner.
If Purifoy doesn't move, I'll go with KT.

Let me add another name for biggest impact - Tyler Moore. He is the surest bet IMO, especially if Purifoy doesn't move to Safety.

I think an incoming WR has the best chance to make the biggest impact.
Any incoming freshman has a good chance to start from day 1. We cannot get any worse than what we already have.
At RB, Matt Jones looks like a stud that can take the next step. So Taylor may have a tough time winning the starting job.
At DB, we are loaded, so it will be hard for any incoming freshman to make a big impact
