I agree. In the years they have beaten us there, they have fielded some pretty good teams.
Dee Bost is gone, thank God.

This maybe true but we have a better chance than usual.

If there's something magical in Starkville where a crappy team beats a good team -- the magic is gone.

Well, clearly, either this year's Gators are different, or the year's Bulldogs are different, or both of the preceding are true given Tonight's result.

I have strongly felt this "curse" in football since the 70's, but not so much in basketball.
I went to a football game at MSU back in the 70's and we lost the game in an upset in the miserable rain with all those cowbells ringing (I certainly didn't need more cowbell that day ). I think that was also the game where Nat Moore broke his ankle (or something) and was lost for the season (but, I was in jr high school and it's gotten fuzzy in the old memory).
But, I've feared playing MSU at MSU every year since then and often for good reason.

I would love to go to every SEC stadium, but you would have to pay me big bucks to face the cowbells. I would even put a trip to Starkville below Tallahassee.

We have been everywhere, and went to Starky in 2009. Everyone has always trashed it, but we loved it. Very underrated. You can fly in to an airport about 10 minutes from campus, they have some nice bars, and the Lil Dooey is close to the best stop in SEC BBQ. They have also created a new tent tailgating area, that mimics the Grove quite nicely. If you have a change, go. It is a much better trip than USC, Tally, UK.

I'd go to Lexington, because I could drop my wife off at Keeneland.
