Grown Ups 2...
Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, and David Spade are taking their families back to their small, elk-filled hometown in the trailer premiere for this summer's Grown Ups 2 - http://yhoo.it/10wcTQR
The first one had some of the worst acting in the history of cinema. The movie itself wasn't terrible when they weren't just trying to out one-liner each other. I'm sure I'll go see it. Maybe wait for video.

I love Sandler but Grown Ups 1 was wretched. I would have been seriously pissed if I had paid to see that. I saw parts of it on TV on TBS and was just amazed at how stupid it was. I literally hated myself for thirty minutes for watching it.
It wasn't remotely funny.
Salma Hyak is hot but she's getting a little fat and she can be frigid and annoying because she is all boobs, which is fine if she is in heels up on a stage dancing like beothc, but her face is heading south for the winter so she is yesterday's news and not worth getting worked up about.
The other characters were either cardboard cutouts, cliches, both or one line morons.

I like Adam Sandler when interviewed....but in movies?
The absolute worst "comedian" in the history of comedy.
Jack and Jill is thanking it's lucky stars that Must Love Dogs was made, or else it would hold the title of worst movie of all time.
All of his humor involves acting incredibly immature. Embarrassingly bad.
He's actually not a bad actor in his more serious roles, but the sophmoric humor is literally the absolute worst.

The first one was not even watchable. How they got green lighted for the second is beyond me.

The first one had a great cast, solid premise, plus Salma Hayak. How it could be so awful is still beyond me. It wasn't just bad--it was un-watchable. Why they would want to make another is a mystery. How they got a green light to make the sequel is an even bigger mystery.

Just saw the trailer for GU#2 on YouTube and thought it looked good.
Would I pay to see it? No way in hell. I'll catch it in a few months on TBS and shake my head at the stuff that some people get paid to do.
Sandler rounds up a few of his friends, they hire a few hot chicks, sit around and make up a few skits, film it, and make a ton of dough. Sandler is the smartest guy in the room. Low brow humor always works because life is stressful.
Don't over think it.
He'll make way more than he invests (he has a production co.) and he'll have a great time doing it. I won't see it but a bunch of other people will and TBS will pay for the rights too. It isn't rocket science.
It makes me wonder why I work for a freaking living when I see stuff like this. Yes, I am bitter and jealous.

Cat,
GU#2's premise is they move back to their hometown to raise their kids in a safe environment. Good premise. The trailer has jokes about "you can't ride your bike to school in LA" type stuff that yuppies will enjoy and relate too.
Hayak isn't working for me anymore.
I see hotter chicks than her everyday.
She needs to hit the gym.
Her accent and skin color are hot but if you want to see prime time unbelievable hot latinas you got to wacth the teh spanish language channels. You will basically die. They are F'ing amazing.
