Dan Quinn will make $1.9 million per season in Seattle
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/88...cording-source
Quote:
The Seattle Seahawks have given new defensive coordinator Dan Quinn a three-year contract worth $5.7 million, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
• Network: NFL Nation
The deal will pay Quinn approximately $1.9 million per season, slightly less than the $2 million annual salary that Ray Horton will make as the Cleveland Browns' defensive coordinator.
The Seahawks hired Quinn on Thursday to replace Gus Bradley, who was named the Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach earlier in the day.
Quinn was the Seahawks' defensive line coach from 2009-10 before leaving to become the defensive coordinator at Florida.
Quinn's defenses ranked among the top 10 nationally in his two seasons at Florida. In 2012, the Gators were fifth nationally in scoring (15.4 ppg), second in pass efficiency defense and fourth in rush defense (94.9 ypg). Florida gave up only seven passing touchdowns, which was second only to Boise State (four).

Well can't blame him for leaving. I would love to make 4 times my present salary.

They'd have to pay me like that to work for a jerkwad like 'ole Pete.

This reinforces that he didn't leave lightly.

I would have been sad if he didn't leave for significantly more money

In his first game as a college player ever, despite what our QBs may lead you to believe, QBs generally get better throughout the course of a season.

Lame. It didn't stop him from torching us in the first half.
