Fantastic Atmosphere in the O'Dome!!!!
SUPER! FANTASTIC! Atmosphere today in the O'dome for the Mizzou game. it doesn't get any better than that today. electric and energized from the get-go. and it was sustained high energy that amped off the friggin' charts a few times - we went from bedlam to beserk by the play of the Gators.
fantastic performance by all - team and fans alike.
Rowdies are very entertaining from my perspective today. i loved how they mimicked the dazzlers for one dance routine. that was flatout GREAT stuff. quite a performance.
fun fun game. we should be selling out the o'dome for every game if it's THAT much fun to attend.
even the alumni were on their feet. yellin'/clapping (not at the same level of the students, naturally, but put in a good effort).
team is just something else to watch. can't give out enough kudos they're a joy to watch and cheer for!!!

One of the better atmospheres in some time. The place was packed. And they gave us a show

I was at the game today...very loud, very involved crowd. Except for the pockets of stunned Mizzou fans.

stunned...and worried, since i was a buyer/looking - at the number of fingers out on the street and in front of the o'dome seeking tickets. sure was a buyer's market. was like a kentucky game.
blimp flying overhead too. gets folks in the mindset of "big game!" we came to play too - fans and team! wow!

I thought it was the best atmosphere in quite some time. It was pretty deafening in there at times.

I would suggest anyone who wants to go to the Ole Miss game, and doesn't have tickets, better start looking for some early.

What did you end up paying? Lots of people with fingers in the air and the best price I heard from scalpers in the street was$90/each

Seriously?! You know it's good when the alumni are into it. Thanks for the thread. It's great to hear that the recent trend is turning and that the students/alum/community are filling the seats again.

guy asked $30 for lower bowl behind the gator bench, i gave him an extra $10 for being a nice guy
next best was $100, so jump all over that one ticket like a pitbull on a poodle

that was so much fun....loved watching the rowdies do the dance routine, mirroring the dazzlers.
w/ that much fun, i'm surprised we're having trouble selling out games. the ancillary stuff is very entertaining...e.g. dazzlers, halftime show [unicycle], etc. seemed like the place to be on campus today. i wonder, for some games if we couldn't get 25k to attend but others, only 8k. 'tis a mystery.

I was lucky and got a really low level 2 seat for $25. But that was one of the toughest tickets for a gator basketball game in a while.

I think this means it was a sellers market but glad to hear it.

The Rowdies slept at the O'Dome the night before the game. Head of the Rowdies and UAA put a lot of effort into the atmosphere last night and it was packed to the rafters. Would like to see it continue, this team certainly deserves a crowd like that.

is that when they practiced the dance routine?
it was as if they'd been doing it for years. so well choreographed. was alot of fun to watch. there were guys getting into it - i mean they were hamming it up quite impressively. letting it all hang out.
i think the best seats in the house are across from the rowdies and just watch them interact w/ the game and the pep band etc.
we need to get that energy under the baskets too. any suggestions?? maybe host a "sleep over" for the alumni, eh?!
