Colbert's sister running for congress
No, this isn't terribly important, other than what it will mean for his show over the next few years. But she is running as a dem in a re-drawn district that she has a legit shot at winning apparently, and his name recognition in the state won't hurt her.

I would love to catch a funny Colbert show one of these days. Are there any?

She's probably Colbert in drag.

He dissolved his Super PAC, though, and donated all of the money to charity. If only the others would follow suit.

Now Mr. Colbert has a chance to enhance his credibility by adding his sister (if she is elected) to his list of politicians to be lampooned. Let's all hold our breath.

He lives right up the road from you in Montclair. But he is from South Carolina.

Hopefully she doesn't use her brother as her news source.

If Sanford's the best Pub candidate they have to oppose her then they're in trouble. ....Tea Party needs a comeback. Screw the old-school pubs.

At least she has the decency to not be ashamed of the way her last name is pronounced.

I have heard Colbert slip up on air and call himself "cole-bert". So, that is how he really pronounces it when he isn't in character.
