It is ironic that Boortz has chosen an African-American successor, given that he has a long history of overt professional racism.[/QUOTE{
Overt racism? Do to have proof where Boortz actually discriminated against anyone of a different color or vulture?

A strident racist? Have you ever tried to separate Maddox the politician and Maddox the person?
I am not saying that Maddox was for diversity but he did have a way of separating his personal views from public policy
[quote]Maddox was favorably influenced by Murray M. Silver, Esq., General Counsel of the Georgia Department of Labor, and Commissioner Sam Caldwell to hire blacks and to approve legislation affecting unemployment insurance of automobile workers within the state.[20]
He integrated the lines of farmer's markets throughout the state.[21]
Years after Maddox's gubernatorial term ended, Republican Benjamin B. Blackburn described Maddox as a "far better governor than his critics will ever admit." Then a former U.S. representative, Blackburn noted that no claim of corruption arose against Maddox, whose administration was characterized by economic development and the appointment of African Americans to state executive positions.[22][/]

Nobody living in Section 8 housing should be allowed to vote.”.

If you were at least an occasional listener of Boortz you would of learned why he felt that way. Boortz felt that living on public assistance corrupted or compromised your vote. To paraphrase Boortz, "who is go to vote against the hand that feeds you?"

Soon after Katrina and the New Orleans Exodus Atlanta experience an influx if former New Orleans citizens. For the next two years the media aired a barrage of stories of robbery, scams, fraud, and murder by the Katrina refugees. Now a good portion of the refugees were law abiding and productive citizens. However there were a good number of them that deservedly earned Boortz rath.

If you have not live up here in Atanta and personally experienced the McKinney circus then you have no business to make comment to defend or support her. To be honest with you that poor woman should of been committed years ago. If you thought Boortz was hard on get you should of read what the local journalist said about her.
