$$$$$$$.......Kirby is making over a million per at Bama.
What is Quinn going to make in Seattle? I believe he was making about 500k at UF. That's probably not in the upper tier for coordinators.

I guarantee you he never pays for a meal either. That's a fortune in "per diem."

Good luck in Seattle coach Dan. I'd like to thank you personally for all you did for the Gators football team and Gator nation.
You will be missed.

Couldn't he have waited till after signing day to go? He had to know the effect on recruiting this would have.

What effect is it having? The only guy wavering is a 2014 DT. Valentine. And was already shaky. Explain the effect it is having on recruiting. I don't see it.

I think Pease has to prove he can build an offense in a big time conference. The QB development and pass game coordination just isn't there yet, regardless of perceived player-personnel issues.
Think our defense was very good in part because of Dan Quinn and the loss is going to hurt. Gut says Coach Durkin not on the same level as DQ but hopefully it turns out Coach Muschamp was involved enough in the scheming that Durkin will have a mentor looking out for him- but as well I hope Coach Muschamp doesn't become bogged down coordinating.
Is there a rumor or something with legs that says Bryant Young is considering a change or did I misinterpret something I scanned earlier in this thread?

GatorCountry is the best Gator Sports board, and also the most conservative.

Or, maybe there's too many simple people trying to complicate this issue.
Durkin will be just fine as our next DC.

She was there all along -- didn't you hear she was dying a slow death?
For those of you who don't get that, just ask Reggie Nelson.

No doubt. We survived with Bob Stoops left. We survived when Charlie Strong left. I got a feeling we're going to survive this one too.
